We had breakfast for the first time there. Walked in and we're immediately greeted, plus they got out a highchair for our little one and took it to our table. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and quick action. They have daily specials. Prices are extremely affordable. Food portions were what they used to be. Service was immaculate! We even bought their homemade sausage to take home. This is definitely a great local spot. Food, service, and price point you can't beat. I can't wait to come back on a Friday and have the chicken and dumplings. My husband said it was the best pancake he's had in many many years, he also really liked their coffee. Can't recommend this place enough.
This was the best mom and Pops place I’ve been to in a long time. Customer service was awesome. Ms Sue was great. Food was unbelievably good. Prices were good. Will go back anytime I’m hungry no matter how far I have to drive. Thank you to Ms. Sue and the team wonderful women. Wonderful atmosphere just all around 10 stars if I could give it. The menu has a little bit of everything and every one thing on there is great that I have had or my family. I have found my new spot. I highly recommend you check it out. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! If you are looking for a mom & pop shop type atmosphere and outstanding home style cooking THIS IS IT. Super friendly staff!! I wish more places were like this!! see you Friday for all you can eat chicken & dumplings!!! Mmmmmmmmm 😋
I was in this place last Saturday morning because I've heard good things about it and it's close so I gave it a try for a take out. From when I first got to the counter the woman there with glasses, don't know her, seemed bothered and angry that I ordered because there was a large table in the other room they were making food for. The whole time there i felt like I was a problem for this woman and couldn't wait to just get out. When I paid she made a point to show me that the machine was set on a 20 percent tip and that's what I should pay. This was a terrible experience , the worst I've had at a restaurant, and I have been to some pretty bad places in my time in the Air Force. I will never go back. The biscuits and gravy weren't good anyway, the gravy tasted like it came from a can.
Great breakfast, and some had burgers. The homemade blackberry/pepperjam was Heavenly. The lady who makes these is awesome! The waitstaff is remarkable. We will stop again if in the area. I would highly suggest you stop here. You will NOT be disappointed.
Breakfast...eggs, biscuit, coffee (all very good) and the best part was the Redneck Sausage (spicy patty but not overly hot). Obviously a local favorite...good old country feel. Lauren my waitress was very friendly. Get there for breakfast by 9am...they get busy fast.
The very quaint and quiet restaurant. They are kid friendly. Old school kinda diner. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
We ended up paying over $46 for: 4 eggs, 2 pancakes, 1 waffle, 2 sausage patties and a chocolate milk. Absolutely Insane prices for this place that is unchanged since the 60s. It's gross inside. Sticks menus, sticky tables, sticky booths. Only thing decent was the homemade sausage patty. But $46 for what we wanted was outrageous. That's an expected price for that breakfast at Disney or a fine dining restaurant. Water tasted like it tan through moldy pipes. Avoid at all costs. We were robbed.
